Jerrold B. Harris

Jerrold B. Harris is a Director of BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation. Mr. Harris has been retired since 1999. From 1990 to 1999, Mr. Harris was President and Chief Executive Officer of VWR Scientific Products Corporation (which was acquired by Merck KGaA in 1999). Mr. Harris is currently a Director of the BlackRock Closed-End Funds and a Director of Henry Troemner LLC, a provider of scientific equipment and supplies. An advocate for conservation, Mr. Harris has worked with Ducks Unlimited, Inc. since 2013 and Waterfowl Chesapeake since 2014, and he served as Director of the Delta Waterfowl Foundation from 2010 to 2012. From 2000 to 2013, he was a trustee of Ursinus College. Mr. Harris earned a BS from the University of California at Berkeley in 1964.
