Hovik Adamyan
Mr. Adamyan is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform. He is a Research Analyst focused on middle market performing credit and special situations largely in the US. Mr. Adamyan heads industry coverage for real estate and chemicals and supports coverage within aviation, building products, aerospace & defense, and the business services industries. Mr. Adamyan also has extensive experience as a portfolio manager of credit portfolios and played a significant role in shaping the performing private credit strategy as well as co-led the development of Symbeo, the firm's private credit software platform. He has been at BlackRock and its predecessor, Tennenbaum Capital Partners, since 2013.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Adamyan was a Credit Analyst with First Western Capital where he analyzed and invested in high yield credit opportunities in the oil & gas, chemicals, and metals & mining industries. Mr. Adamyan was a Credit Analyst at Macquarie Funds Group where he began his credit investing career in leveraged loans and high yield bonds as well as providing portfolio management support for a variety of leveraged loan portfolios including CLOs and Closed End Funds.
Mr. Adamyan earned a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Accounting from the University of California Los Angeles in 2007.
