Biography

Alexa Oyague, Vice President, is a member of BlackRock Alternative Investors ("BAI") and resides within the Global Credit Platform. She is responsible for originating and executing direct lending and special situations investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with key deal sources and intermediaries across the US including private equity groups, investment banks, turnaround advisors and others.

Prior to her current role, Alexa was a member of the Global Credit Product Strategy team within BlackRock Alternative Investors, focusing on BlackRock's Private Credit platform. As a product strategist, she provides a link between the investment teams and client groups. In this role, she is responsible for product development, structuring, marketing, and investor relations for BlackRock's Private Credit platform with a special focus on the firm's direct lending capabilities.

Prior to joining Blackrock in 2019, Alexa was an Investor Relations associate within Golub Capital's Investor Partners Group where she was responsible for managing relationships with a number of retail and institutional clients located in the US and overseas. Prior to that, she worked at PwC on a number of transactions advisory and accounting projects.

Alexa earned a BA degree in Business and a minor in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. Alexa also earned a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015.
